Why is Woodman's gas so cheap? ›

Woodman's has responded to the lawsuit, according to local reports, saying their lower prices are under an exception from the Unfair Sales Act that allows them to drop the price of gas to meet a competitor's price as long as they notify the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection.

According to research by AAA, TOP TIER gas offers 19 times fewer carbon deposits in components such as the intake valves and combustion chamber. Furthermore, AAA has found that TOP TIER fuel provides a cleansing effect and improves overall fuel efficiency. With that said, Woodman's gas isn't a TOP TIER brand.
